Own a bike? Moving to a new city? You should probably check out this helpful biking infographic we found via bikeleague.org. Kory Northrop, a master’s student in the Environmental Studies program at the University of Oregon, maps out bicycle friendly cities based on factors including ratio of male to female cyclists, government spending on bike infrastructure, traffic fatalities, and other data sets. Kory found that between 2004 and 2009 about 300,000 people started commuting by bicycle and places like Alaska and Montana have a growing bike commuting culture.
