Yuri Milner, known for his lucrative investments in Facebook, Groupon, and Zynga (and reshaping the rules of early stage VC funding), appears to be getting ready for a move from downtown Moscow to the suburbs of Silicon Valley. It's been reported by the Wall Street Journal that Mr. Milner spent close to $100,000,000 on his new, 30,000 square foot, Los Altos Hills mansion.
This 18th-century themed French Chateau has been under construction since 2001. William Hablinski, the architect of the residence, told the WSJ that the project had "no real budget". With five bedrooms and amenities like an indoor pool, ballroom, wine cellar, and opulent decorations throughout the home, we're pretty sure there might even be a tiny giraffe running around.
