Today we’re thrilled to announce that HotPads is moving to the vibrant Mission District of San Francisco!
Since launching HotPads in 2005, our focus has always been to provide the best housing search experience while having the most fun doing it. With these two basic goals, we’ve grown the site past five million monthly visitors and attracted a devoted team of 20 HotPadsters.
The tools we build are designed to help people find their next home faster and transition to new cities more smoothly. What better testament to the search tools we build than to use them ourselves? We've already turned to HotPads a few times in the past, like when we moved a few blocks in Washington DC from our "live-in" headquarters in Dupont Circle to our current office in Georgetown.
This summer, we’re taking “the move” cross-country.
We believe it’s the perfect time to open up a new chapter for HotPads. Changing environments and immersing ourselves deeper into the consumer web ecosystem of Silicon Valley will help take the company to new levels. Plus, we get to play with all the tools in our house searching arsenal, like Lasso Search, MyPoints, HotSpots, and more.
Over the last several months, we have been actively expanding our talented engineering team, building an all star sales team, and launching the most innovative housing search tools in the industry. The next phase of growth will be even more exciting. If you know someone interested in joining our team, let them know we're hiring.
We're incredibly grateful for the opportunity to grow HotPads in Washington DC and we look forward to supporting and staying connected with all the other companies proudly made in DC.

Congratulations on your growth, and taking the leap to move across the country. I didnt know hotpads was a 20 person organization, from the quality of your products and innovations I assumed you were a group of 1000.
As Realtors we have been getting a good amount of contacts from your visitors lately, and its business that we greatly appreciate.
